Ferrosilicon is an iron alloy composed of iron and silicon. Ferrosilicon is an iron-silicon alloy made of coke, steel scraps, quartz (or silica) as raw materials and smelted in an electric furnace.
Hence non conventional processing methods have been developed to accommodate PTFE's unique properties based on powdered metal processing technology. There are three basic techniques for moulding suspension polymerized or granular PTFE.
1.Four layers of fabric, four layers of PVC for 9mm thickness. 2.Three layers of fabric, three layers of PVC for 7mm thickness.3.The combination of fabric and PVC glue ensures the stability of the belts.
